At HEKO Projects, we combine craftsmanship with a down-to-earth approach. We believe that a strong exhibition stand starts with a good story. And that every design only works when the brand truly comes to life within it. Whether it’s an international trade show in Munich or a compact presentation at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht: our team ensures your brand stands out, convinces, and leaves a lasting impression.
Our philosophy: making brands shine
An exhibition stand is more than wood, light, and fabric. It’s a stage where your brand comes to life. We believe that real impact occurs when design, technology, and brand story merge into one. That’s why we don’t think in square meters, but in experiences. How people experience your brand the moment they step into your stand.
At HEKO Projects, we translate identity into space. We listen, design, and build with attention to detail and a sense for brand value. From the first sketch to the final screw, everything revolves around one goal: making brands shine. We do this with a creative perspective, a permanent team of professionals, and the drive to make each project better than the last.
Our approach: from concept to realization
A successful trade show participation starts with a solid plan. That’s why we guide our clients through every step of the process: from initial concept to complete realization. We call it turnkey stand construction: you focus on the exhibition, we handle everything else.
The team behind HEKO Projects

Our journey in exhibition stand construction
It all started with HEKO Timmerwerken, founded by Henrie and Hannie Kocken. Prior to that, Henrie had worked in stand construction since 1986. From home and on location, he worked on custom interiors and carpentry projects, with craftsmanship, precision and love for wood as the basis and immediately became Preffered Supplier for Mercedes Benz.
A year later, HEKO Projects was born. The focus shifted from independent assignments to exhibition stand construction for national and international trade shows. With a growing network of clients and partners, a new direction emerged: building experiences.
The projects grew larger, as did the ambitions. HEKO Projects expanded with an even larger workshop in Druten, equipped with advanced machinery and a close-knit team of professionals. From here, every project, from design to assembly, could be fully realized in-house.
Erwin Kocken joined the company as a sales representative. With his commercial insight, eye for design, and energy, he brought in new clients and fresh ideas. The foundation for further growth was laid.
Erwin joined the management alongside Henrie and Hannie. Together, they continued building the HEKO Projects brand with a clear direction: quality, reliability, and custom exhibition stand construction.
In 2018, HEKO Projects was named Entrepreneur of the Year in the Maas & Waal region. A crowning achievement after years of growth, innovation, and craftsmanship. Not just for the projects we delivered, but especially for the way we collaborate with clients, partners, and a close-knit team that always goes the extra mile.
After more than twenty years of entrepreneurship, Henrie and Hannie passed the baton to their son Erwin. A symbolic moment marking the continuity of the family business. The same values, with new energy.
Today, HEKO Projecten consists of 17 experienced professionals with a combined total of more than 200 years of experience in exhibition stand construction and interior construction. We combine craftsmanship with modern technology, building sustainably and with pride to create stands that make brands shine.
