Sustainable construction with impact
Sustainability at HEKO Projecten is not a buzzword, but a natural way of working. We believe that creativity and responsibility go hand in hand. That's why we design and build exhibition stands that not only make an impression on the trade show floor but also have a positive impact on the world around them. From reusable constructions to recycled materials: every detail counts when it comes to sustainable stand construction.
Our sustainable approach begins in the design phase. By choosing modular systems, circular materials, and smart logistics, we reduce waste and transport movements. This creates an exhibition stand that doesn’t just shine once, but lasts for years without compromising appearance or quality. Sustainable construction means for us: smarter design, more conscious production, and stronger presentation.

Sustainable construction begins with design
A sustainable exhibition stand doesn’t begin in the workshop, but at the drawing board. In every design, we seek the perfect balance between aesthetics, functionality, and reuse. By considering material choice, assembly, and logistics from the first sketch, we limit waste and build smarter. This creates stands that not only stand out on the trade show floor but also last longer and are less burdensome for people and the environment.
At HEKO Projecten, we use modular constructions that can be easily adapted to new trade shows or formats. Components are reused, lighting is energy-efficient, and materials come from sustainable sources. From certified wood to recycled aluminum: every detail is consciously chosen. Sustainable construction is not a limitation for us, but an opportunity to combine innovation and responsibility with a stand that is as future-proof as your brand.
Wood Loop. A logical choice.
Wood Loop is an initiative that ensures residual wood is no longer incinerated or discarded. Instead, it is efficiently collected, separated, and reprocessed into new sheet materials. By segregating waste ‘at the source’ and intelligently organizing reverse logistics, Wood Loop significantly reduces COâ‚‚ emissions and contributes to a circular furniture and interior construction sector.
For HEKO Projects, participating in Wood Loop is a logical choice. We process residual wood, sheet material, and custom-made building components. Through Wood Loop, we ensure these waste streams remain valuable raw materials. This allows us to not only construct interiors and stands but also consciously close the loop: transforming residual wood back into new sheet material. It is our commitment to taking responsibility for raw materials, the environment, and future generations.

Our sustainable approach
Sustainability is embedded in every step of the process at HEKO Projecten. From design to completion, we work with a circular mindset: smart material management, efficient planning, and maximum reuse. This way, we deliver not only quality but also peace of mind. For you and for the planet.
We start every project with a modular design. Components are conceived so they are easily adaptable and reusable, without the design losing its strength.
Both internally and our production partners work with sustainable materials, modern techniques, and minimal waste. This guarantees a top-quality finish with a small ecological footprint.
We plan transport efficiently and limit trips by transporting stands modularly. This saves space, fuel, and time without compromising planning or quality.
After the event, a stand doesn't disappear into storage or the waste stream. We dismantle, inspect, and reuse components for your future projects. This keeps your investment valuable and sustainable.
